​Michael Hancock is a contemporary artist, focusing on unique applications of paint to canvas.  He started his love of art at age 10, taking lessons in a variety of settings in the southwest suburbs of Chicago, IL.  He continued his passion for art through high school, subsequently obtaining his art degree at Illinois State University.  His interests are fitness, cooking, exploring the many trails of the Appalachian Mountains, and collaborating with other artists.  He now resides in Asheville, NC.
